Rising Family BBQ

Join us for our annual family barbecue on Sunday May 29th from 5:00-7:00 p.m.

Bring your friends and enjoy some good food and even better company. All we ask is that if your last name is A-L that you please bring a dessert and if your last name is M-Z that you would please bring a salad or side item. Rising Student Ministries will be providing meat and drinks for this event. So please invite your neighbors and friends to this great event.

CIY MOVE - Cleveland, TN July 10-17

DATES: July 10 - 17

COST: $325 for registrations turned by May 18th, and $355 after. A $50 deposit is                  required to reserve a spot. Registration Closes on June 1st. Full registration cost is due by June 26th.

INFO: CIY Move is an amazing opportunity for students to engage in powerful worship, engaging messages and fun activities for an entire week. If you have never been to MOVE, this is the year to do join us. This year we will be attending MOVE at Lee University, in Cleveland, TN. Registrations are due by Wednesday, May 18th with a $50 deposit. The full cost of registration is due by June 26th.


We will be stopping at Six Flags in St. Louis on our way back, the cost of this is already included into the registration cost for the trip.


MEALS: Students will be responsible for paying for their own meals while traveling and while at Six Flags, $75 is suggested. While at MOVE all meals are provided for and are included into the cost of registration.

CIY - Believe

CIY BELIEVE

May 13th and 14th; Tulsa, OK

BELIEVE 2011 is a two-day event that the Christ In Youth organization has intentionally designed with Jr. High students in mind. It’s packed with high-energy worship, biblical teaching, creative elements, and fun opportunities to connect with other junior high students


Trip Details

• We will meet at Crestview at 12:30 p.m. on May 13, and we will leave for Tulsa by 1:00 p.m. Students will need to have eaten lunch before they come.
• The conference begins at 6:30 p.m. on Friday evening and goes until about 10:30 p.m.

• We will be staying at Cedar Ridge Christian Church in Tulsa on Friday night. Students will need to bring a sleeping bag and pillow for the night. 
• Saturday morning the conference continues with the day full of activities.
• We will hit the road to come back home as soon as the conference is over at 4:30 p.m. and grab some dinner at a stop on our way back.
• We expect to arrive back in Manhattan between 10:00 and 10:30 p.m.
